Christoforos Panayiotou was born in Athens, Greece in 1977. In 1992 he moved to Cyprus, where he concluded his high school education. In 1999, 2002 and 2011 he received the BSs, MSc and PhD respectively in Computer Science from the University of Cyprus. He has been involved in at least a dozen European research projects (FP6, FP7 and H2020) as well as a number of nationally funded research projects. His teaching experience consists of assistance in a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate courses (around 20 different courses in total) in the Computer Science department of University of Cyprus. Since 2003 he is a Special Teaching Staff of the Department of Computer Science of University of Cyprus.
His research interests include Internet Technologies, Mobile Computing, Data management and High Performance Computing.
