Call for Industrial Papers
The Industry Track at ICSOC 2011 is intended to highlight practical system experiences, proofs-of-concepts and practical research in the broader domain of topics at ICSOC. Like regular papers, Industry Track papers will undergo a review process by an international TPC and will appear in the post-conference workshop proceedings to be published by Springer as part of the Service Science series. However, the selection criteria for Industry Track papers are slightly different. Papers should describe applications, prototypes or case studies with practical relevance, including work that has been conducted in collaboration with industry partners. Papers with narrow algorithmic focus or unexplored high-level ideas or designs are discouraged.
A key goal of the Industry Track is to expose the academic and industrial research communities to practical, real-life problems in the focus areas of ICSOC 2011: service-oriented computing and cloud-based innovative applications for 21st century enterprises.
We invite submissions about the state of the art in these fields, reports on novel practical research in an industrial environment, experience and best-practice reports, evaluation reports on the benefits of service-oriented computing in practice, use case studies and applications of service-oriented technologies. Papers about novel products are within the scope of the ICSOC Industrial Track.
Paper Submission and Publication
Papers should not exceed 12 pages including all references and figures. All papers must be prepared in the Springer LNCS format and be submitted electronically in PDF to the Industrial Track of the conference submission system (https://www.conftool.com/icsoc2011). Accepted papers will be included in the ICSOC 2011 post-conference proceedings of satellite events, to be published by Springer as part of the Service Science series. At least one author of each accepted paper is expected to register for and attend the ICSOC 2011 conference in Paphos.
